Membership Directory Updated
As a result of the website upgrade on January 15, the Member's Directory is much easier to use.  To access the directory click here or click on the "Member Directory" on the left menu option.  You must be registered and logged into the system in order to view the member directory.
Now you can sort by last name, unit # or owner status.   If you click the "printer friendly' link it also will display email and cell phone in alphabetical order by last name.   From there you can print out the directory as a handy reference.
Also, please be sure to review your profile info to make sure it is up-to-date.  And be sure to participate in the survey on the home page -- click here then scroll down to the lower right corner of the page.  At the next Board meeting, we'll make a decision about producing an annual Resident Directory.  Your input is valued!
How to Prevent Frozen Pipes
Here are some helpful tips from Gates Hudson about helping to avoid frozen pipes during this cold spell which is forecast to get worse over the coming days:
  • Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around plumbing.  Be sure to move any harmful cleaners and household chemicals up and out of reach of children.
  • When the weather is very cold outside, let the cold water drip from the faucet served by  exposed pipes.  Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle - helps prevent pipes from freezing.
  • Keep the thermostat set to the same temperature both during the day and at night.  By temporarily suspending the use of lower nighttime temperatures, you may incur a higher heating bill, but you can prevent a much more costly repair job if pipes freeze and burst.
  • If you will be going away during cold weather, leave the heat on in your home set to a temperature no lower than 55 degrees F.
